Decision triage under pressure

When life closes in,
find a way forward.

Rent is due. You need work. Every option comes with a catch.

Start with the situation you’re in. Explore possible next steps, push back on what would be too stressful, and refine a plan you can actually carry.

What needs
a little clarity?

Start with a situation in your own life. If you work with people facing these pressures, look at the system around them too.

Clarity Individual

For the situation
you’re in right now.

“I need $300 for rent.” “This job pays more, but I don’t have a car.” Start with the need and the constraints, even if you don’t yet know your options.

  • Name the urgent need and the real deadline
  • Account for transport, costs, time, and support
  • Identify what to do or find out first

For a system
that could work better.

When people cannot follow through, look at what the process asks of them: travel, paperwork, waiting, time off work, and costs they may not be able to carry.

  • Find where the process becomes difficult
  • Separate evidence from assumptions
  • Define a small change and how to test it

The approach

A conversation.
A plan that fits.

The process brings facts and possible paths into view. You bring the consequences it may miss: the stress, the people involved, the uncertainty, and what you can sustain.

A proposal is a starting point.
Your pushback is part of the process.

  1. 01

    You bring the situation.

What do you need, by when? What money, transport, time, responsibilities, and support are available?

  2. 02

    A possible path takes shape.

The intended AI approach uses practical decision rules: protect stability, respect constraints, check sustainability, then consider improvements.

  3. 03

You bring it back to real life.

“That would be too stressful.” “I can’t depend on that ride.” “This leaves nothing for my family.” Those are reasons to revise the plan.

  4. 04

    Refine the next move together.

Adjust the path, identify what needs checking, and settle on a manageable first action with a fallback. Return when the situation changes.

What Clarity is working toward

A plan takes shape.
You make it workable.

Clarity is designed as an AI-assisted conversation, shaped by practical heuristics and your constraints. The goal is a plan that supports stability, is sustainable in your life, and can be improved from there.

Available now: a free situation map that organizes your answers into an editable, printable brief. AI analysis is not connected in this release. The conversation described here is Clarity’s intended experience; this release provides the situation map while that connection is completed.

Start with my situation

Why Clarity exists

It began with a question,
not a judgment.

Is someone struggling because they make bad decisions—or because the pressure around them makes good decisions harder?

Michael began working through his own scenarios with an AI assistant: give it the circumstances, examine its proposed path, and push back where it missed the human cost. The plan became more useful through that exchange.

That process helped shape the work that followed—including Clear Frameworks and other projects. Clarity carries that original purpose forward: make the next move more workable, then build from there.

Start where you are

Your situation is the starting point.
Your judgment stays in the process.
